The submission of a paper and a final abstract is required as a condition of presentation. The final paper should follow the Paper Format. The paper template is available for download in two formats: MS-Word and pdf.

Please give the filename in accordance with your abstract ID. For example, the filename for a paper of Abstract ID 8000 should be 8000.pdf .

Important: Submission of a completed paper and a final abstract is required for all conference presentations. You may update your paper after submitting it to the Conference Secretary and make it available at your own web site during and after the Conference. In this case, you must make all of the arrangements and include the URL in the your final abstract and the paper.

Important: Papers submitted by 15 December 2002 will be reviewed by the Program Committee for acceptance as reviewed papers and for the awarding of prizes. The Program Committee will notify you of the review result by 15 February 2003. The committee may ask you to revise the paper; if so, your revised paper should be submitted by 25 March 2003. The reviewed papers will be included in the "Reviewed Papers" section of the Conference Proceedings. Papers that are not accepted by the Program Committee, will be included in the part of "Non-Reviewed Papers" section of the Proceedings.

Important: Papers which are not completed prior to the review deadline should be submitted by 25 March 2003. Papers that are not submitted by this deadline can neither be presented at the conference nor be included in the conference program.

Submission

The final full paper and its executive summary should be submitted by email to cupum03@rs.civil.tohoku.ac.jp within 25 March 2003.

Please give the filename in accordance with your abstract ID. For example, the filenames for a paper of Abstract ID 8000 should be 8000.pdf and summary8000.pdf respectively. Be sure that you have a cover page with your AbstractID as well as your contact information.

Important: We will acknowledge receipt of your paper by email to the contact author. If you don't receive the receipt within one week, please contact us.

CD-ROM Proceedings and Bound Executive Summary

The CD-ROM Proceedings will also be published including all papers submitted by 25 March 2003. The Proceedings will comprise of two parts: "Reviewed Papers" and "Non-Reviewed papers".

The executive summary will be published on paper at the conference. The intention to make this paper copy is to help the audiences to follow the presentation conveniently even without their personal computers. Please submit your executive summary together with the final paper. The templates can be download from the upper right corner of this page.

Prizes

A limited number of prizes will be awarded to excellent papers.
