Abstract
The objective of this project is to apply the concept of electric arc to detect the pinhole of
medical latex glove through simple testing by placing between the terminal of electric circuit or
electrode. When the current pass through the different medium that is rubber and air between
electrodes with different resistant values. The analyzed data can be interpreted and concluded
whether there is any leak or defect in the latex glove or not .The project procedure is as follow:
First of all reviewing the literatures about electric arc and high voltage circuit, then using the two
suitable method to be tested i.e. roller model electrode and palm glove electrode. After that
making the model and get studying the relationship between relating factors or requirements for
experiment including variable factor such as space between electrodes, voltage during spark, and
spark between medium or interceptors. The utilization of this project is very useful as a basic
project and appropriate technology for making leak detector instrument that can be applied for
many other related fields in the future.
