The CUPUM International Conference, first held in 1989 in Hong Kong, has been held in many great cities around the world including Oxford (1991), Atlanta (1993), Melbourne (1995), Bombay (1997), Venice (1999), and Honolulu (2001). In the bi-annual conferences conferences, international speakers have presented their innovative research and developments in various computer applications involving urban planning, environmental management, housing, transportation, and community development. For more than a decade, CUPUM has been one of the premier international conferences for the exchange of ideas and applications of computer technologies to address a range of different social and environmental problems. The CUPUM conference covers a wide range of topics related to state-of-the-art computer technologies and applications in urban planning, architecture, engineering, environmental science, public administration, urban management and other fields.
