Fruit

is a prototype noun in ThSL. There is a unique sign for each kind of fruit, e.g., banana,

orange, mangosteen etc. There are two variants of the sign for “fruit” in ThSL :

“Fruit (1)” is widely used among the Thai deaf.

“Fruit (2)” is a compound sign consists of
