1. Download the Vista graphics driver from your notebook’s support page.
2. This package contains the driver for the NVIDIA GeForce Series video chip in the supported notebook models and operating systems. File name: sp42635.exe
3. Run the above driver.  You will probably get an Unsupported Operating System error.
4. Close out of any error windows.
5. Go to the device manager and click on the video controller (or Microsoft Basic Display Adapter) needing drivers.
6. Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.
7. Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file. That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp42635.
